I don't fault the Ute fans for being j. From a publicity standpoint, Jimmertime last year goes unrivaled by anything either of the two schools had accomplished. And yes, I include BYU's 1984 NC in that. To have that happen while the Utes were simultaneously on their way to hitting rock bottom as a basketball program introduced some vitriol into the equation. I don't hate Jimmer. But I don't have a problem if Jazz fans singled him out to boo him. Hell, I singled out Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and booed them. I even singled out Keith Van Horn and booed him because he didn't play for the Jazz.
