I don't know if I've ever seen an NBA player have to justify or choose to justify to his teammates missing a shot like Jimmer just did. That was sad and pathetic to watch.Originally posted by camleish View PostWow was Earl even close to him? Ugly airballI'm like LeBron James.

Thanks Surfah. I was 20 feet behind Jimmer's back, it looked like there was slight contact but I wasn't sure. Not sure he would have made it anyway, tough shot and he wasn't set well. Anyway, he's got guys, I like a rookie who wants the ball at the end.Originally posted by Surfah View PostYou tell me.

Interesting dynamic at that game, the ute coug rivalry playing out in the ESA. Place went nuts when he missed and would've gone nuts had he made it.
Personally, I was hoping it would've gone in and that the Jazz get another opportunity for the last shot (and they make it)."Remember to double tap"

Are you implying the cheers after the miss were from petty Ute fans? Wasn't this a Jazz home game?Originally posted by venkman View PostInteresting dynamic at that game, the ute coug rivalry playing out in the ESA. Every time he touched the ball there were both cheers and boos. Both were quite loud.Originally posted by DU Ute View PostAre you implying the cheers after the miss were from petty Ute fans? Wasn't this a Jazz home game?

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

It was after the shot. If you look at the photo, the ball is gone by the time Watson makes contact.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Postlol. Smr doesn't know basketball.
lol. TD can't see.
That said, whether or not he got fouled is beside the point. The fact that he felt like he had to justify it like he did was what was sad about the entire situation. NBA players miss game winning shots all the time, sometimes they get fouled, sometimes they don't, but I've never seen anything like I saw last night from Jimmer to his teammates and coaches.I'm like LeBron James.

Smr please stop. It is a still shot you have no idea if that happened before or after the bll left his hand. Either way it is still a foul. Jimmer was animated during the game about it and who wouldn't be? After the game he refused to talk about it.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostIt was after the shot. Sorry but your post really does make you look like you don't know basketball. I know that is not the case but you are coming across kind of dumb.*Banned*
