Playing it as background music during intros is one thing. Having the guy perform the stuff live for the crowd is another.Originally posted by Indy Coug View PostThey played it last year (UNM game?) when they unfurled those 40 foot tall curtains and projected highlight clips on them.Fitter. Given the rich history of the variety and quality of past Marriott Center entertainment, I can see how this might be viewed as a dropoff.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostPlaying it as background music during intros is one thing. Please, no. Not yet, anyway. I'll gladly accept a Jimmer cover story after the NCAA tournament, though.Originally posted by Surfah View PostSI was there last night and did a photo shoot after the game. Kelli Anderson is writing a feature on Jimmer that should be in SI soon. Hell yeah. Harmon hinting at cover story in tweets.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

This segment was on while I was at the gym last night so I stopped to watch it. They had actually just got done showing BYU highlights through the first half, and they showed every one of Jimmer's baskets.Originally posted by Surfah View PostLegler calls Jimmer an impact player in the NBA and compares him to Steve Nash.

Anyway, I recall Legs saying he should be a "niche" player in the league. That with "that kind of range" and being able to get rid of the ball "that fast" he'll be able to find a spot. Also, the comparison to Nash was in his ability to shoot all over the floor off the dribble. He also mentioned that he doesn't have Nash's quickness or command of the ball. That seems pretty fair.So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I was at the Y when the started it. I could be wrong, as I usually am, but I believe Janet's debut was for a packed house against Utah. The crowd went wild (by dorky BYU standards). The sad part is I left Provo 18 years ago.Originally posted by SteelBlue View PostDoes this mean they are replacing Black Cat by Janet Jackson? They will rue the day.

Wrubell's call of Jimmer's bomb last night is pretty funny. "Oh no. Oh YES!"

I wish he'd bring HD Fella out with him so they could perform Buried. Not sure how it'd go over with the MC crowd though...they'd probably prefer to stick with 6 year olds playing a game and SYTYCD solos.
