That wasn't intentional. There was one out. Why put Freeman on with McCann and Chris Johnson coming up next in a tight ball game when Gio knows he isn't going to get any run support? Besides, Teheran pitched through an inning before plunking Harper. If that was a retaliation pitch for the Freeman ball then I really wish Harp would have kicked his ass. I effing hate the Braves.

That's the dumbest part of baseball's self-policing rules...no matter what happens, the other side wants to try to justify or rip what happened, and can always try to portray the other side as doing it right.

Because the tying run was on second base with 1 out, and the nationals' best hitter, who had homered in his previous at bat, was up. Good strategy to put Harper on 1st base, making a double play possible. That way, a groundout ends the inning, rather than simply moving the runner to third.

It's baseball. I fault nothing that went on, or how it was handled by the players. On either team.

I like Davey Johnson but I don't get many of his moves this season. He's moved him around the outfield quite a bit too.
