Ahhh, I missed that. I was in and out for most the game.

Screw that. I am glad Harper got drilled then.

That wasn't intentional. There was one out. Why put Freeman on with McCann and Chris Johnson coming up next in a tight ball game when Gio knows he isn't going to get any run support? Besides, Teheran pitched through an inning before plunking Harper. If that was a retaliation pitch for the Freeman ball then I really wish Harp would have kicked his ass. I effing hate the Braves.

Why put Harper, the winning run, on base in a 2-1 game? It made a lot less sense than putting Freeman on. So why was Freddie not intentional but Harper was? Washington hit Atlanta's best hitter, Teheran waited until Harper came up to get Washington's best. That's the dumbest part of baseball's self-policing rules...no matter what happens, the other side wants to try to justify or rip what happened, and can always try to portray the other side as doing it right.

I can't fault Harper for being pissed that his team shut Strasburg down last year, or that his team is about 40 games out of first right now.

And this is why nobody likes the Braves or their fans. When is the last time Atlanta won anything significant? You are the buffalo bills of baseball.

Well, to be fair, the Braves have won a championship which is more than the Bills can say.

Utah Jazz of baseball? Maybe that's why BGR likes them.

A more accurate comparison would be that the Bills are the Utah Jazz of football.

Bad comp, again. I pick a lot of crappy teams. But at least Atlanta has won something.

Because the tying run was on second base with 1 out, and the nationals' best hitter, who had homered in his previous at bat, was up. Good strategy to put Harper on 1st base, making a double play possible. That way, a groundout ends the inning, rather than simply moving the runner to third.

It's baseball. I fault nothing that went on, or how it was handled by the players. On either team.

Only 6.5 games out of a WC spot.

He seems to be heating up the last week or two. That .522 slugging mark is pretty bad ass for 20.

I swear they move the kid around in the lineup too much. I know it's only the two spots, but it seems like on any given night you don't know which one it's going to be.

I like Davey Johnson but I don't get many of his moves this season. He's moved him around the outfield quite a bit too.

Seems to be on a nice little run again here. Good game tonight.
