I'd rather have Harpring. The Jazz never cease to amaze. If you're overrated and over the hill, there is always a spot for you in Utah.Originally posted by BGRTHNUMEGO View Post3 years, $10 M...that can't be serious...right? Please?!
That has to be a deal where the last two years aren't guaranteed. No way they give a soon to be 34 year old SG coming off a year where he played 6 games that contract without some contingencies involved...right?!?!
Seriously. Unreal.I'm like LeBron James.

And apparently the Jazz could have had Matthews for less...Originally posted by BGRTHNUMEGO View PostThe comparison isn't between Bell and Matthews. The Blazers over spending for Matthews shouldn't in any form or fashion establish a market for Bell. But I'd take Matthews at 5/32 over Bell at 3/10 at this point in their careers...though I'd take neither of those deals with the current roster and cap situation.

I'm as dumbfounded as the next guy at the deal I just signed. If Utah would have come to me and offered 3 years/$14 M with a 4th year option, I would have signed immediately.

Interesting. That's cool he would have taken that scenario. I wouldn't have.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostAnd apparently the Jazz could have had Matthews for less...

So far you're on record as saying the Jazz announced their intention to sign Matthews at any cost.
You're also on record as saying that there is no way Minny trades Jefferson to Utah.
Is strike three going to be looking or swinging?Originally posted by SloanHater View PostYou're going to look like a moron when the Jazz match.KEverything the Jazz have said since they made a qualifying offer has indicated they are going to match any offer to Mathews. Just because you are too stupid to read between the lines doesn't mean the evidence isn't there.
I respect the effort, though. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

# No Welcome Home Elder Jefferson signs that I can see. 15 minutes ago via txt
# Al Jefferson's about to arrive at Salt Lake airport. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I already miss his blog posts. What the Trib has done to their blogs is a shame. Completely ruined the blogs.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostI'm going to be bummed when Siler leaves the Trib this summer. Siler tweeting that the reason the Jazz never made an offer is that they were told they wanted the full mid level. Utah told them to go find it and they would talk about matching.
With Jefferson and Bell coming, is it safe to say Utahs biggest offseason departure will be Siler now?
