Yep. Brewer from a foot inside the 3-point line is a pretty low-percentage shot when you need a bucket to put the game away.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostHoly hell. This team is so bad with its shot selection.
Here we go. NY with the ball, down 2, 6.4 seconds left.
Guarantee they'll drill a 3 after the timeout.
Boozer's defense on the pick and roll at the top of the key is beyond pathetic -- between Boozer and Okur the Jazz really suffer on the defensive end. That's their biggest problem, in my opinion.

Your two final shots are an AK 3 from the corner, and a Brew J just inside the 3pt line. wtf? Talk about lack of execution.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostYep. Brewer from a foot inside the 3-point line is a pretty low-percentage shot when you need a bucket to put the game away.
I know AK hit 5 3's tonight (I'm guessing that's a career high), but that's still not a shot I'm all that comfortable with.So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

This team will never be elite with Boozer and Okur as their starting 4 and 5.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostYep. Brewer from a foot inside the 3-point line is a pretty low-percentage shot when you need a bucket to put the game away.

Way to get the tough win, the Jazz. I know beating the Knicks was hard, but you did what you needed to do.
I'm so proud.

At what point would some of you put this on Deron? Are these 4th quarter meltdowns the result of a lack of veteran leadership? We are talking meltdowns against horrible teams, not just good teams.
Who exactly is the closer on this team? No wonder they keep blowing big leads. Nobody steps up to assume the role.
I am not blaming Deron specifically, btw. The roster isn't his fault, obviously. But building leads and then blowing them in the 4th quarter indicates more than just missing pieces on the roster.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

I listened to the second half on the radio in the car..... .Locke? Meh....
Jazz just have a hard time keeping a huge lead. Up 16 on the road in Dallas - lose. Up 15 at home to Sacto - lose. Up 21 on the road in New York - win by 2. That's scary.

Deron can do no wrong in the eyes of Jazz fans. He is the best pg in the nba according to most of them. Just like Malone was the best PF ever, and Stockton was the best PG ever.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostAt what point would some of you put this on Deron? and some people didn't want to read your simmons book because it doesn't offer any insight or analysis!
This team keeps blowing huge leads. Almost nightly. Who is responsible?
This Jazz thread has unwittingly become something greater than I could have ever imagined. The one thread that has serious potential to overtake the Lakers thread....and it is an entire thread, by Jazz fans, for Jazz fans....dedicated to complaining about how awful the Jazz are. I couldn't have scripted that any better if I had done it myself.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.
