You did. He does not look like a max player--or even a near max player--and, regardless of how his contract situation plays out this summer, Utah's front office was correct in not rushing into a contract last summer.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

What do you guys think he's worth?Originally posted by Donuthole View PostYou did. He does not look like a max player--or even a near max player--and, regardless of how his contract situation plays out this summer, Utah's front office was correct in not rushing into a contract last summer.

If the Jazz are going to compete for a title, they are still missing the #1, IMO. So, that makes Gordon a #3. A #3 often makes $10m per year, even when management has done a great job managing contracts. You just hope someone below #3 is not making that much money. I expect Gordon to around $10m/yr. Just remember that Tyreke Evans got an offer as a restricted FA last year for $11m/yr. Lots of teams willing to pay too much.Originally posted by The_Douger View PostWhat do you guys think he's worth?

Burke doesn't have a clue right now. Gordon either. The future?"Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

Play well, win. Play shitty, wonder if they have what it takes even if they add a good draft pick. Kind of the dilemma.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostBurke doesn't have a clue right now. Gordon either. The future? So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

GSW now in a tie for the 8th spot with Dallas, and Memphis trailing by just two games. Bogut and Lee have missed the last two games with minor injuries, and while I would never wish for anyone to get hurt, I wouldn't be mad if the injuries grew more serious.

Its not our fault. Those are the type of games that the Heat should take over in fourth quarter.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostWTF is going on? I thought we were tanking?Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.
