4 rebounds to boot for Burks. Loved him going hard at Kaman.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostBurks with 10 freebies in 14 mins. Sap and Al haven't shot 10 in a game yet this year.
Earl Watson was my favorite player tonight. Three possessions in the 4th quarter he got pissed at Miles. After the 3rd Corbin yanked Miles and put Burks in. How does Miles possibly get any minutes over Burks tomorrow?
Kanter with 12 boards in 22 minutes. Kaman was scoring on him, but the team defense was horrible on many of those plays. Kanter's drop step and dunk was impressive, one of those plays where he appears to be more athletic than you'd expect.

Miles is an on court cancer. He's one of those rare players that even when he's hitting his shots, he's probably still hurting the team.Originally posted by BGRTHNUMEGO View Post4 rebounds to boot for Burks. Loved him going hard at Kaman.

Good to hear about Kanter's rebounding and it looks like Favors had a decent game as well.I'm like LeBron James.

Burks had a couple of nicely placed passes as well in the 4th. And Hayward's drop off to a cutting Burks on the baseline showed how nice it is when two guys who can pass and move off the ball play together, as opposed to CJ chucking it or driving into a turnover or Bell never leaving the 3pt line.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostMiles is an on court cancer. I started watching the game at 10:00 last night on the DVR and my brother was visiting from out of town.
Brother: Do you know who won?
Me: No, But I'm assuming the Jazz won since the Hornets have 4 wins all year and are playing without their 3 best players.
30 minutes later...
<Jacob chuckles as he notices the Jazz are down 19 in the second half to a bunch of players he's never heard of>

This is unwatchable. And not because the Jazz are losing, but because these refs insist on calling every tricky tack call (both ways). Boring.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

You've never heard of Chris Kaman?Originally posted by Jacob View Post30 minutes later...

Even though most Jazz fans are bearish on the Jazz, I'm still bullish that they'll make the playoffs and spoil any hope of a late lottery pick while getting slapped around by Denver for a first round exit.
Good signs:
Hayward goes strong to the basket. He insists on dunking it even when someone is coming at him. This speaks volumes about his confidence. Hopefully some of this rubs off on Favors.
Forget Millsap, Big Al is the all-star of the Jazz. The Jazz would average 80 pts without him.
The Jazz need a big, defensive PG. Harris and Watson can't defend half of the PGs in the league one-on-one.
Bad signs:
Corbin.
Corbin's rotations.
Corbin's refusal to push the tempo and take Harris/Watson out when the stop pushing the tempo.
Corbin's odd desire to play Bell, Howard, and CJ while leaving Burks and Evans on the bench.
My advice to Jazz fans, enjoy the home games and playoff run. Brace yourself for an extremely frustrating season next year.
