Nobody has heard of Gustavo Ayon, Marco Belinelli, Greivis Vasquez, Lance Thomas, Donald Sloan, Xaxier Henry, Al-Farouq Aminu. That's 7 out of 9 players.

What has Evans done besides dunking, elaborate on what he can do.

I'd rather average 80 points with Derrick Favors and Paul Millsap playing while Jefferson and Harris are traded so we can get Harrison Barnes in the draft instead of Brad Beal.

Then someone doesn't follow college basketball. Maryland, cincinatti, Tamu, Kansas, Wake.

Belinelli was a lotter pick I believe and Ayons last 10 games have been very good.

I didn't say I don't know them (although I didn't follow them then in college because I didn't care), because I've watched them, but 80% don't. Ayon is a very good player and an underrated pick-up for NOH this offseason. I'm not surprised at all that the Jazz came out and totally flopped away the game last night, I expected it out of this team.

I can't believe there is someone who knows less about the NBA than Jacob

You mean aside from his offensive rebounding, ability to block shots, and the energy he brings to the game with his above the rim play?
I can't tell you more until he plays more. Kind of a paradox.

Harrison Barnes? Why would the Jazz draft a ball stopper like Barnes?
It seems odd that I'm always labeled the Jazz pessimist when Jazz fans like you are hoping for a lottery pick. :livecoug:

          • So the 3rd night of a b2b2b went about as expected, especially against one of the 2-3 best teams in the league. Hard to glean anything useful from such a game. But it was good to see Burks being able to get to the line again (6 FTA in 19 minutes), Favors getting to the line (7 FTA in 17 minutes), and I was glad to see Burks get an early call again in the 2nd half. I was worried Corbin was only going to give him the short stint he got in the 1st half because he got pulled pretty quickly.

After last night's game, Burks leads the team at 7.4 FTA/36. Favors is 3rd at 4.8/36. Jefferson is at 3.7, Millsap 4.0, Kanter 4.0. He also easily leads the team in Free Throw Attempt Rate:

            Burks - .36
            Favors - .29
            Kanter - .28
            Hayward - .28
            Miles - .28
            Howard - .27
            Millsap - .22
            Jefferson - .17
            Bell - .14

Burks needs to get the his FT% up from the 72% where it currently sits but I think that # would go up with more consistent time on the court. Getting to the line was clearly a major plus for him in college and something that has translated well so far for him.

Favors' reb rate has dipped. Kanter's has stayed over 20. Incredibly disappointing to see Favors only get 17 minutes again last night, especially with his offensive production. But he's got to get more done on the glass. It'd be interesting to see what his rate is when on the court with Jefferson/Millsap as opposed to Kanter.

Maybe you should change your boardname. Just a thought.

Read again. I've followed those guys since they came into the league like anyone else, I said that the average fan has no clue who those guys are, and it is still ridiculous that we let role players beat us regardless.

Anyways, Golden State 11th in the league right now.

                  • Al Jefferson. Good grief. McGee is a good shot blocker but he has trouble with guys who can out muscle him AND have some length. The Bullets are short in beef.

                        • I like 6-7 from the field better than FTAs for Burks. It was good to see a good string of finishes from him.

There certainly isn't a wing on this team that should be playing more minutes than him.

                            • "I don't want to settle for jump shots. I like to get closer shots. I like to get to the rim," Burks said. "I ain't going to shoot that jumper until you make me … then I'm going to shoot it."

                              Percentage-wise, Burks (.333) trails only red-hot Raja Bell (.418) from 3-point land.

"I can shoot it if I have to," he added with a smile, "but if I don't got to, then no reason to."
