Also a jimmer scenario in there, but I don't care as much about that rumor.
Of course, who wouldn't? Oh right, the celtics.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Yeah, I don't see why the C's would do that. Rondo is still only 26!

If the Jazz could pull something like that off, it would change this team dramatically for the better.

We know that's where the Jazz are headed. The disconcerting thing for me is that one of the only teams that has played fewer road games than Utah is Golden State. Once they hit the road-heavy part of their schedule they could easily drop to the 4-6 range in their pick. Hopefully Curry stays healthy.

Stationary 3 pt shooters are the Jazz worst enemy.

                  • Spurs have a constantly rotating cast of characters that just knock down 3-balls like nothing. I swear it's been this way since the late 90s. They just keep coming up with more of them like a factory. Meanwhile the Jazz can't ever seem to come up with decent 3pt shooters.

                      • 8 straight on the road for the Spurs without TJ Ford, Tiago Splitter and Manu. Big Win. Jazz looked good just struggled to defend the 3pt line. BIg Al was a tough guard for Duncan tonight.

                        • I struggle to understand how Gordon Hayward gets minutes. Whenever he's on the court it's like a game of 4 on 5.

                          • Keep it up, Corbin. Keep riding Millsap and Jefferson and Miles to the 8th pick in the draft.

Deron drops 10 in a minute. It was nice having at least one good player to cheer for.

                              • Kanter 9 in the rookie ranks this week.
Feb. 17: As a high draft pick and someone who dominated the Nike Hoop Summit game like no one has since Dirk Nowitzki, the expectations for Kanter are extremely high. It's not fair or wise to expect total dominance from a big man who is just 19 and playing in America for the first time. Rather, it's important to see success in small doses -- perhaps even big success in one area of the game that, over time, will grow into something much bigger. (That's really how it happens almost all the time in the NBA.)
Suffice it to say that Kanter is doing that as a rebounder. His six offensive rebounds against Oklahoma City on Feb. 10 were impressive in that he showed great hands, an ability to tip the ball away from the opponent and to himself, and a willingness to bang guys in front of the rim while going to the glass frequently. It's no surprise that a big man with long arms and good hands is the best offensive and defensive rebounder of this class despite being so young.
It makes me wonder how good Kanter would be right now had he been able to play for a season at Kentucky. Still, his numbers suggest that he can be a starting big man in the league, one who finishes inside well and owns the boards
