Don't get me wrong, I love the wide-eyed Jazz Fans who think that the GS pick will be #8 and P Jones will be sitting there.
They are also also miles better defensively, and haven't seen enough of Curry yet to tell how the offense will be (beat NYK and Chicago with Curry). Goes both ways. Their schedule has been pretty tough, while the Jazz's has been pretty generous.

Perry Jones isn't the pick that we need either, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist seems more appropriate by the time June rolls around.

Agreed about the Jazz schedule. I think Locke's desperate attempts to paint Corbin as the reason for success is pathetic. Unlike GS, this Jazz team is loaded with talent.

We've seen what happens with Curry out. Imagine if Ellis is out for any period of time. I don't see Ellis and Curry making it through this shortened season when they're being asked to play 30+ a night.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love the Jazz to get the #8 pick, but that's as likely as the Jazz hiring my man Laimbeer to coach.

I believe this is true for every team in every sport.

You accuse others of not following the NBA because you think GS is terrible. Yet you seem to have forgotten, or simply are unaware that GS was not as bad last year as you claim they are this year even though their talent hasn't gotten worse. They selected 11th last year. They have actually added a few players this year in Clay Thompson (who I'm not impressed with) Udoh and Biedrins were injured a lot last year.

The Warriors are not a good team. But they are also not the worst team in the league. There are currently at least 6 teams with records as bad or worse than GS, even GS has been awful. The sample size is too small right now for that too mean much and if Curry is out for half the season, that obviously makes them worse.

I'd say there is a pretty good chance that the Jazz end up with the GS pick, which will be between 8 and 12.
The real question is how bad are the Jazz. You still seem to think they are playoff bound. I'd guess they win slightly more than half of their home games and around 1/3 of their road games. That puts them right around where they were last year, and a pick between 9 and 12.

          • Lead at the half. Do they get their 5th straight tonight?
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

            • Jefferson/Favors/Millsap a combined 25-30 from the field so far.

Those guys are killin' it, which is good because we're not getting much at the other spots.

Depends on how Al Jefferson does, he's struggled really bad against Bynum/Gasol. I think it will be a decent ball game. Home games entirely different than road.

This team is all sap and al -- you can't ask for a worse matchup than la for them. That's why we're getting run tomorrow.

If Hayward and Howard show up (and Bell makes some shots he's given, he's been decent the past two games from what I've seen), it's a big help. I imagine Favors will get more playing time because he's lengthy and Millsap isn't.
