Kanter is averaging 16 and 10 on 67% FGs, 28 mpg in his last five. Those are the numbers of a young #3 overall draft getting ready to break out and perhaps become a star worthy of a #3 pick - crazy to not continue to just give him big minutes - increasing minutes. To think a guy like Jefferson (and worse - Marvin playing the four) getting in the way of that is preposterous.

Seems like he's progressively getting healthy. 23/7 and really good %'s since the break. And the wrist has hurt his shooting the month, and this is his 3pt% by month:

Nov - 26.9%
Dec - 32.9%
Jan - 42.0%
Feb - 49.0%
Mar - 50.0%

Last little bit actually seems like he's coming back.

Watching Marv have a third straight solid game off the bench, and started thinking about something I remember reading from his scouting report last year:

+ Passive combo forward with good midrange shot. Excellent finisher in transition.

Does the first unit get any transition baskets at all? Second unit gets in there and runs up and down the floor, and suddenly Marv look productive again.

Enes throws up a +23 to Al's -8. I want 82games to update so I can see how Kanter's simple rating has changed since his minutes went up.

Good stuff from Evans tonight. And good form from Corbin, remaining consistent that even if a guy further down the bench has a good game, he can't take minutes from the guys in front of him.

Yes, beating a lousy team at home, when that team is even worse because it is missing Knight and Drummond, can jump start a team that hasn't been able to do anything but beat bad teams at home all year.
