Ha. I thought you were just really excited.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Took a break from worshipping at the porcelain wishing well just long enough to watch the rebroadcast. Hayward and Burks are playing hyper, Raja is playing too many minutes (Brock Zylstra) and the logjam at the 4/5 and the continued lack of any true SG is the same old story. Tinsley surprised me with a bit of veteran savvy and Devin Harris surprised me with 1 assist.
Still think they win 28 games and I am still looking forward to watching everyone progress."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

That sucks. Jimmer is shooting 55%. 67% from the three.Originally posted by UtahJazzFan88 View PostFor being 3-10 and 0-8, he made it look pretty good actually, lots of calls and little bounces haven't gone his way. Yep, not worried about Burks. He's getting to the rim any time he wants. In time, he will start getting those bounces and he start getting some calls and going to the line. On about three of those misses, he drew enough defense that the Jazz were able to get offensive boards and score. And his defense was very good last night.Originally posted by UtahJazzFan88 View PostFor being 3-10 and 0-8, he made it look pretty good actually, lots of calls and little bounces haven't gone his way. Also, I've been impressed with Kanter. He's obviously an excellent rebounder, he likes to use his big body to muscle people, he's getting to the line and last night in particular, his defense - both man to man and help - was nearly flawless. It was pissing me off when the Jazz would double down to help him on Aldridge as he was giving Aldridge fits all night.I'm like LeBron James.

Josh Howard is going to be that veteran who isn't good enough to take the Jazz anywhere or do anything special, but just good enough to keep the young players on the bench and not developing. Give it a month he'll be my most hated player on the team other than Roger.I'm like LeBron James.

Honestly, what was up with the refs in that first quarter? That was worse than a Kings/Lakers playoff series. It was the most boring, most poorly officiated quarter of NBA basketball I've ever watched.
But from watching that one preseason game I can say that one way Corbin is different from Sloan is that Burks would never, ever see the court if Sloan was the coach. He's way too smooth in how he plays the game. Sloan would see it as a lack of effort and would sit him for at least 1.5 seasons.
Corbin appears to be like Sloan in that when the opposing team puts Batum at PF because he can create an incredible mismatch on offense and isn't a liability on defense because Okur is left in to guard him, Corbin just leaves his front line the same instead of substituting Favors back in to abuse Batum on the block.
