No. I do not hate Nate McMillan. Can I add him to the list of men that Johnny Lingo wants to have sex with?

See, funk, this is why people think you have anger management issues.

No one thinks I have anger management issues. The plain fact is that you keep pushing this point, despite me pointing out that I do not like it. Ever since you gave your little spiel about not liking when people call you a homosexual, I have laid off you. I thought you were making an effort for a period of time there to be more civil, so I decided to do the same to you. You keep picking and picking at me, so I fired back in kind. Don't dish it out if you cannot take it.

He'll go when the voice finally goes or someone in the media touches him during a press conference and his OCD just gets the best of him.

What are your specific problems with Sloan right now? He's actually playing rookies, which is nice. Is it just his general philosophy about the 3-point line?

That is certainly a part of it along with his other defensive philosophies (i.e. fouls fouls fouls). In fact, for the last several years I have really been bothered by the fact that he gives so much lip service to good defense, but doesn't really seem to know how to coach it, and he certainly doesn't seem to be out looking for a defensive-minded assistant coach to address it.

Also, I don't think his philosophy on rookies has really changed, as he has never had a problem playing second-round and undrafted rookies (Collins, Millsap, Mo Williams). Nevertheless, I attribute his willingness to play Matthews mostly to team injuries (Korver would definitely be starting over Matthews if he were healthy, and probably CJ), and Maynor only ever got off the bench because of Price's injury.

These are valid accusations. You think Phil Johnson would change things in this area (I am assuming he takes over when Sloan is done)?

You're probably right. Thank goodness for Price's injury.

This is really what it comes down to for me. We know defense wins, and I don't see the Jazz ever becoming an elite or even very good defensive team under Jerry Sloan. He either has no clue how to coach defense or find/play good defensive players or both.

I'd put money on this not happening.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
