Ford says Utah may be interested in Thabeet. I wonder how much Gay's injury changed Memphis' current opinion of Mayo. But I wonder if we hear talk of a thee-team deal involving Randolph going somewhere as has been rumored, Millsap/Miles to Memphis, and Mayo/Thabeet coming to Utah.

I think it's part "stick it to him" and part "you're welcome: you can walk out on the Nets, they have no legacy, so what does it matter?"Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostDoes this move change management's tune on what took place 2 weeks ago? I doubt it, although I think Deron's general demeanor and obvious disdain for "small markets" gave the Jazz the chance to stick it to him while looking to the future.

Sounds like Utah's been interested in Thabeet for some time. I seem to recall his name being thrown around by national guys before in relation to the Jazz. I would love that deal.Originally posted by BGRTHNUMEGO View PostFord says Utah may be interested in Thabeet. I wonder how much Gay's injury changed Memphis' current opinion of Mayo. Mayo would relish the chance to play in Utah. (I couldn't resist)"Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

When Ty Corbin hires Jim Boylen as an assistant next year, he'll have two big men to work his magic with, Fes and Thabeet!Originally posted by Jacob View PostI was under the impression Thabeet was a bust.
Looking at his stats, this is his 2nd year and his stats stink. He is also 24.
No thank you. More interested in Mayo. Thabeet looks like a downgrade from Fess."They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

From Chris Ford. Who would be coveting AK? It would have to be a title contender. Boston wants a defensive 3. Miami looking to trade Miller. Lakers looking to dump Artest?Who are they after? In particular, Paul Millsap and Andrei Kirilenko are coveted.
I like Sap to Houston for K Martin. Throw in the GS draft pick. But Martin makes a little too much for the Jazz's likes. And they too have too many PFs

I've got tickets for the Jazz/Nuggets game next week. I was considering giving them to a family member but I think I'll go and see who ends up being on the floor for each team."You interns are like swallows. You shit all over my patients for six weeks and then fly off."

i would take kevin martin in a heartbeat. he was a stat sheet stuffer in sacto, and is the kind of scoring wing that would really help ease the pressure on al.Originally posted by Jacob View PostFrom Chris Ford. Artest in SLC would be worth the price of admission. Who knows what sorts of things that guy would go on days off between games.Originally posted by Jacob View PostFrom Chris Ford.
