So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I assume you are conceding in our little disagreement over whether Kanter needs to drop 15 pounds or so?Originally posted by MarkGrace View Post
Not that pilates seems like a great use of time, I'm sure (I hope) he spends a lot more time on explosive movements and strength rather than abs and butt firming.

It looks like he agreed with me. Seems to be on the right path.Originally posted by Jacob View PostI assume you are conceding in our little disagreement over whether Kanter needs to drop 15 pounds or so?
He's been at P3 doing explosion work. Not that pilates seems like a great use of time, I'm sure (I hope) he spends a lot more time on explosive movements and strength rather than abs and butt firming. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Looks like Kanter is proving the Turkish coach right, that Corbin is doing it wrong just planting him on the block on offense and pretending he's a bruiser on offense just because he also happens to rebound well.
And yes, I can tell Corbin sucks just by seeing Kanter's abs.

More pics of Kanter doing work.
Reminds me of when Utah drafted Koufos and everyone that had ever known the kid talked about how hard he worked and how much he loved to practice. And then he apparently decided he hated work and didn't love practice. Good to see that so far, Kanter is no Koufos.Last edited by BGRTHNUMEGO; 08-30-2012, 12:35 PM.

If I told you only one NBA center finished among the top five in offensive rebound rate and in true shooting percentage, would you have guessed it was Koufos?
Koufos also finished in the top 15 in defensive rebound rate and ranked sixth in total rebound rate, all at just 23 years old. These numbers epitomize a player who is ready for more minutes and is on his way to a breakout year. The last three months of last season were Koufos' career best, in terms of minutes played per game. He's always been a player who looked like a double-double guy if given 36 minutes per game. But now he has the strength to protect the ball and the paint better while also having enough experience to be counted on night after night. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

NBA.com picks 5 breakout players.
Derrick Favors, Utah Jazz
We wondered how long it would take Favors, who was a raw-but-super-talented teenager when he entered the league after one season at Georgia Tech, to mature into his massive frame and become a consistent factor for a loaded Jazz frontcourt. He answered that question for us, and Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, during the playoffs (11.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks).
A 6-foot-10, 250-pound behemoth in training, Favors, just 21, has perhaps the highest ceiling of any player on this list. And he’s already clamoring for more playing time this season. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
