Euro-flopper strikes again. Gobert should know better but Dirk knew that was the game when he flopped for Rudy's sixth. 21 point second half lead and they lost. Just unbelievable. That shitty team had no business making a game of it. Mack needs to go crawl under that rock he's been hiding under for the past month.

No George Hill tonight and it showed down the stretch.

Kalani and Coach Whitt sitting together at Jazz-Clippers game tonight.

Not sure how I feel about that. Seems to cross a line. Can't see Urban and Harbaugh or Rose and Krystkowiak hanging out enjoying a game together.

Did either of those other pairs ever work on the same coaching staff?

Perhaps your mother told you the same thing my mother told me - to avoid even the appearance of evil.

It happened following a close loss against Dallas a few weeks ago (3 straight losses) and it appears that last night's game has had same affect. Down 30 at home to The Timberwolves. Signs of a team just not ready to make that next step. I guess we'll have to celebrate the Jazz simply making the playoffs. Damn.

Oh and if I've said it once I've said it a thousand times: Dante Exum doesn't even belong in the D-league.

Cut it down to a 27 point loss!

Jazz gutted out back to back wins this week with Rudy playing like a man possessed. The game last night against Sacramento was unreal. The winning tip-in to go with 20+ rebounds and tonight he absolutely turned Cousins inside out. Jazz fans taunted him mercilessly until he just couldn't take it anymore. The word is out, Baby, Boogie, Doogie or whatever it is you call your tired act, the NBA gives star treatment to the league's future defensive player of the year, not to crying women (thanks, El Guapo).

The real issue though are the injuries that keep nagging at this team. With a difficult 20 games remaining I'm hopeful a major losing streak isn't in their future.

Jazz looking great in first half against Houston. Diaw, my favorite Rec League All-Star, even had a few quality minutes. Nice to see the half end with gobert flicking Harden's shot away. Go go Gobert.
                      PLesa excuse the tpyos.

Without Hill or Favs, too. Lindsey & Snyder have put together a pretty damn decent team.

Gobert is incredibly consistent. I feel like Hayward has been more consistent game to game than in the past.

Essentially, if Hood is hitting, the Jazz are going to be awfully tough to beat.

I hope they have some juice left in the tank for tonight. I'm not counting on it as this is likely just a scheduled loss (and might be with even 3 days rest) but, I've been pleasantly surprised by their road performance this year. No Favs and likely no Hood. If either play a significant role in the remaining regular season games I'd be shocked.

there is an argument that they should rest starters tonight and it makes sense in this instance, but Cleveland has struggled and the Jazz seem to do pretty well against them. I think I'd try to win.

A disappointing Eastern road trip but the Rudy Gobert show continues to roll.

A ridiculous 19 blocks in those 4 games, including 8 in his last. Averaged 15 and 14 pts/reb as well. I never thought that a guy with absolutely no shooting range could have this kind of impact on both ends of the court. Now, he and White Chocolate need to get the rest of the crew on board.
