Yeah, excellent read. Thank goodness for the refs, Gonzaga's lack of focus, and our BYU thuggish play. That's the winning recipe.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Uh...wth? Wtf? Still glad I didn't watch as I'd likely be in traction but W.T.F.?? We lose to San Diego and can win in Spokane likes it's our job.
Oh btw, Mika's line is pretty decent for a player with not enough athleticism, whose game doesn't translate well to the NBA, and who still needs a lot of work. Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I'm really surprised every time I see people refer to BYU as thugs, in either football or basketball. Besides the Mika flagrant, I didn't see anything to complain about. I wouldn't even complain about that one.Originally posted by myboynoah View PostYeah, excellent read. Thank goodness for the refs, Gonzaga's lack of focus, and our BYU thuggish play. "Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."
Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

lol, they should just own up to it. Or did they also prepare an edition where BYU ruined GU's undefeated regular season? If so, show us that one.Originally posted by Topper View PostGive 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

I think it was Terry's strategy. Looked like he called it at least.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View Posti think i mentioned once i stopped watching BYU basketball because it was too painful. well, my daughter had a dance competition tonight in lehi and afterwards we went over to the JCWs there and the BYU game was on. i thought, what the hell, i'll sit where i can see the game - i must be living right, because that was incredible. When Kaufusi got that put back to put them up 75-71 the place went nuts. so great. so amazing. so unlikely. and EddieJones is absolutely right - brilliant move by Rose to slow it down with them close down the stretch. imo, that strategy won them the game.

Those GU threads are hilarious. Few is a choker, WCC refs are the worst, horrible being in WCC because the WCC sets them up to lose on senior night, BYU a bunch of thugs, etc.Originally posted by Topper View Post
Good hell if you don't like losing on senior night go out and win on senior night. So dumb to blame the conference for that.

Doesnt matter much, but I'll go ahead and give credit to Rose since when things go south he gets the blame. Plus even if it was Nashif, DR had to sign off on it.Originally posted by KillerDog View PostI think it was Terry's strategy. Looked like he called it at least.I'm like LeBron James.

True. I just know he's been consistently under fire by fans for years. Truthfully, I think he was a much better coach than Rice or Pope. Our fans just have issues because he hasn't spurned us enough. We love to be jilted.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostDoesnt matter much, but I'll go ahead and give credit to Rose since when things go south he gets the blame.
