While watching this game I almost dislocated my jaw by yawning.

There we stretches in the game where we looked terrible and I thought to myself, its great that CSUB sucks worse than we do. We are terrible at taking care of the ball.

The first half team was the one I thought I would be seeing this year. The second half team is the one I have been watching this year.

It was nice to see how they played in the first half. As they gain experience and confidence I think we will see them play more like that more consistently. Also, that was against a pretty decent opponent that the computers currently would rank 4th in the WCC.

When I see Guinn and Leifson getting minutes I have to wonder why we let Bartley go. When I see Shaw getting minutes, I wonder about Isaac Nielsen. Very curious roster decisions by Rose.

Bartley wasn't told to go. The coaches at the time said his decision surprised them. Also, the only reason Guinn and Leifson are on scholarship is because of the players who transferred out. They would have been walkons had Calvert and Toolson stayed.

Dastrup is struggling with conditioning as well as struggling with the offense. The coaches have already simplified the offense to control possessions better and he's still struggling. Too many things happening at once for Dastrup. I love his desire, skills and body but he's struggling to contribute right now.
