Don't laugh. Five years from now they will be making a Disney movie about this. Don't be shocked when MBN's former golden retriever makes the team and gets this train back on the tracks."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? lol. That is the kind of thing I am picturing in my mind. Absolute crazies at the gym. Has anyone else seen this old basketball movie? One of my faves. Very campy, over the top and does a nice job capturing the loony side of ABA in-game entertainment.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostDon't laugh. I hope there will be a spin-off where we get the real back story on Molly. It's a wonderful story.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostDon't laugh. Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I'm going to call my little brother. He still has some eligibility left. Maybe they need an overweight guard who can shoot.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostUte fans now is your chance to get off the couch and help the team. When it comes to basketball comedies from the 1970s, I prefer Fast Break.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Postlol. That is the kind of thing I am picturing in my mind. Yikes. If I had any eligibility and were at Utah I'd show up. If for no other reason than to say that I tried out for the team. I also guarandamntee that I could shoot better than most of their team.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostUte fans now is your chance to get off the couch and help the team. Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Jordan Loveridge and his parents are probably stoked to hear about this development. I'm guessing that recruiting improves once the word gets out that incoming players might get a chance to play with random students that walked into the gym and shot some free throws.Fitter. Happier. Seriously, this has to be some motivational ploy, right? Like some symbolic message that these guys' scholarships aren't as secure as they think and they need to start showing up to practice on time?
Or maybe it's a message to the fans and chumps like Surfah who think they can outshoot a D1 basketball player (yeah, I'm using that term loosely)
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Jace Tevita was a starter at Utah. I know I could outshoot him. And I am sure there are a couple Utes here I have played ball with that would confirm that.Originally posted by ERCougar View PostLOL.

You're defense would fit right in with our team. That offensive capability however will get you cut.Originally posted by Surfah View PostI know you were. I am a chump though. I'll hit a three in your face and tell you all about it all the way down to the end of the court where I will proceed to play no defense.
