For real? As in anyone can show up and dribble the ball for a chance to be on the team? How many slots is he looking to fill via is method? Are there more rumors of players leaving the program anew?

This is a wild development, like something from "The Fish that Saved Pittsburgh." it would be cool to see all sorts of crazies show up at the arena....dudes riding unicycles, guys that are juggling basketballs, free throw experts, etc.

lol. That is the kind of thing I am picturing in my mind. Absolute crazies at the gym. Has anyone else seen this old basketball movie? One of my faves. Very campy, over the top and does a nice job capturing the loony side of ABA in-game entertainment.

Jordan Loveridge and his parents are probably stoked to hear about this development. I'm guessing that recruiting improves once the word gets out that incoming players might get a chance to play with random students that walked into the gym and shot some free throws.

Seriously, this has to be some motivational ploy, right? Like some symbolic message that these guys' scholarships aren't as secure as they think and they need to start showing up to practice on time?
