He was drafted by the Nets and also played for the Knicks. Did you have that cool NBA poster with George Gervin sitting on a throne of ice? Said "Iceman" at the bottom. Very old school. I think everyone had that poster even if you weren't a fan of the Spurs or George Gervin. For some reason, every 80s teen boy had that poster. Also necessary were a poster of some sort of race car and, if you were lucky, that poster of Heather Thomas wearing the pink bikini and her thumb is holding onto one of the sides of the bikini bottom.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostGeorge "Ice-Man" Gervin?

Oh I knew he played Billy Mills. I just didn't remember Billy Mills saying "up your ass with a red hot poker." I do remember Henry Steele saying "all the way up with a red hot poker."Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostUhhhhh dude, Robbie Benson played "Billy Mills" in "Running Brave." Kid won the 10,000 at the Olympics in Tokyo in 1964. Great knowledge of athletic accomplishments of Native Americans. I'll bet you are the type of guy who thinks only the Ute Tribe considers the drum and feather a significant spiritual symbol. Oh yes we Utes are so politically correct...We get the Ute tribe to sign off on the drum and feather we are so doggoned considerate and noble.....Billy Mills, remember the name!"You interns are like swallows. I had that Iceman poster. I got it when I bought a pair of Nike shoes - back when Nike would include a poster with a pair of shoes.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostDid you have that cool NBA poster with George Gervin sitting on a throne of ice? I had that Farrah poster, but not the Heather poster. I also had the Lynda Carter poster with her shirt tails tied in a knot rather than the shirt being buttoned."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

That Heather Thomas poster was a must have for the 80's gentleman. No way in hades that my mom would allow girlie posters on my wall

My mother was and is a Progressive-Puritan.
