He was drafted by the Nets and also played for the Knicks. In between, he played for the Jazz, the first year or two that the team were in Salt Lake.

Never the same after he blew out his knee. I think he was averaging 28 ppg that year.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

I think everyone had that poster even if you weren't a fan of the Spurs or George Gervin. For some reason, every 80s teen boy had that poster. Also necessary were a poster of some sort of race car and, if you were lucky, that poster of Heather Thomas wearing the pink bikini and her thumb is holding onto one of the sides of the bikini bottom.

ps 70s teen boy had the Farrah nip poster.

I'll bet you are the type of guy who thinks only the Ute Tribe considers the drum and feather a significant spiritual symbol. Oh I knew he played Billy Mills. I just didn't remember Billy Mills saying "up your ass with a red hot poker." I do remember Henry Steele saying "all the way up with a red hot poker."

As do I. One of the great lines from sports movies, IMO.

One of my other favorite cinematic lines.

No but I had a full life-size poster of Robbie Boscoe measuring up as a Heisman Trophy candidate!

I had that Iceman poster. I got it when I bought a pair of Nike shoes - back when Nike would include a poster with a pair of shoes.

I had that Farrah poster, but not the Heather poster. I also had the Lynda Carter poster with her shirt tails tied in a knot rather than the shirt being buttoned.

That Heather Thomas poster was a must have for the 80's gentleman. I slept better knowing that she was watching over me at night.

No way in hades that my mom would allow girlie posters on my wall

I often marvel at the control Mormon puritanism had on my life even at an early age when I wasn't a member. Almost a type and shadow of things to come

He was on the Jazz until he got arrested for some sexual offense in SLC which I think was eventually dismissed. He left town and the Jazz shortly thereafter.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

My mother was and is a Progressive-Puritan. Mission President's wife, active in every way but anxiously awaits the day gay marriage is allowed in our temples (What this has to do with Larry K is anyone's guess)
