Well, I haven't watched the Utes play this year, so JiC is correct, I don't understand. I'm just worried about the reverse karma points for fans coming in underconfident. I guess we'll find out if those really do exist.
      Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I'm pretty sure ute fans were under confident against SDSU.

That was the year after my mission. I had a 104 degree fever after I got home from that game. I recall nothing about the 4 days that followed it.

(To be fair, I don't recall anything about any four random days that follow any BYU basketball game that season. But even like a week after the game, I didn't know what happened in those 4 days. I think that was the sickest I've ever been without being hospitalized...)

Even reverse karma cannot help this team shoot better.

You're too kind. I'm guessing 80 percent full (12,000), with 40 percent being BYU fans (6,000). The perfect game for BYU to tout its ability to travel well, no matter the opponent.

I'm very worried, purely for the same reasons as DDD. Utah has nothing to lose.

Anybody know if Jay Watkins is still out with a bad back?

By the way, if JaWat is still DNP status, check out the sweats he is wearing. He doesn't wear the team uniform, but rocks his own track suit that is much nicer.

I'm not sure the MUSS will be able to muster up a very active sign campaign. There were less than 20 students at the last game. And what's with the giant heads? Not even BBall heads. There was Justin Bieber and Jim Carey and Bill Clinton.

I can't find a point spread for the game. Anyone have it?

I believe Lya said yesterday Jay was a no go tonight.

I expect Utah to be pumped and the game may be closer than it should be for awhile before BYU goes on a run to put it out of reach. But BYU wins and the game is never in doubt.

Yahoo Sports has been my go to for odds lately. Go to the sports page then the sport you're looking at and they have a tab for odds of all the days games and usually have the main sports books' odds listed there.

I agree here - this is a classic trap game in college basketball.

I'm the most pessimistic fan I know, but even I'm not that worried--particularly if Watkins is a no-go.

I see this a little like the AF game on Saturday. A somewhat comfortable lead throughout, but never quite able to pull away.

I'm really really tired so I could be way off here, but isn't 40% of 12,000 4,800 and not 6,000? Or did you mean of the 80% in attendance BYU fans will occupy 50% of the seats? I'm confused.
