I'll be there and since I'll have my 5 year old daughter with me, I can pretty much guarantee where I'll be at various times during the game if anyone wants to organize a CUF meet:

Pre-game: getting popcorn at the big concession stand by section S-T (I think)
    10 minutes in: bathroom
    Shortly before half-time: Cowboy corndogs
5 minutes into 2nd half: Scoopology ice cream

I'm excited. This is the first game we'll be seeing since she learned the words to "Utah Man."
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

Institute needs to let people park there for free during the game. Would be nice.

They don't? I thought they did.

Grab a couple for me. I haven't picked up any tickets yet.

I love taking my kids to games. My 3 year old knows all of the words to the BYU Fight Song. He has no concept of pitch and tune but he knows the words. He also knows a number of the cheers and other game time chants that are popular with the cheerleaders and the fans. I think gametime is some of the best father/son and father/daughter time there is.

I think it's safe to say Utah was a heavy road favorite in 2004-05. Probably in the range of tonight's line. "How convenient" was my way of saying, "Typical for a fanbase that doesn't recognize anything pre-Lavell Edwards in football."

(I know that line of logic doesn't necessarily apply to AV. Given "timeframe" smack that both sides like to engage in, I found it kinda funny that your research would stop at the year in which Utah was a big road favorite. I'm not trying to start a war here.)

I assume all you guys that are going to the game tonight made sure to watch the Utah video that shows the way to the HC. I wouldn't want you to get lost out there...

I didnt think the institute let you park there on game nights. does it?

I would ask Ute fans but I dont think many here attend the basketball games.

A lot of the Institute lot is either pay or Crimson Club parking on game nights. However, if you wear a shirt and tie, you can usually convince the lot attendant that you're there for an Institute meeting. Sometimes even if your face is covered in red and white face paint.

We're here in the belly of the beast (I actually like the HC). Thanks to the LDS Institute for providing our free tickets.

PS - The HC needs a new sound system.

So is the Institute on UofU property? I would have thought the Institute sits on Church property. If Church property, how can they charge for parking? Is The Church leasing it's parking to the university? If so, better raise the premium for next year.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
