Larry Brown misses coaching already.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Okay, so these were TIC, obviously, but what about a guy like Jeff Hornacek? Hasn't he had some involvement with the Jazz over the last few years? I feel like he wanted to be in the running last time around but wasn't. Do I misremember?Originally posted by DrumNFeather View PostJerry Sloan

After watching Vandy last night, I'd like to see them make a run at Kevin Stallings. He's been at Vandy since like 99 I think and before that was at Illinois St.
He also got Brad Tinsley to choose Vandy over the Utes, thus far it looks like he made the right decision."They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.

Hold the ROFLMAO emoticon response post until they get their new coach. I'm sure you'll be able to post it along with a side by side resume comparison on that day.Originally posted by Maximus View PostLooks good to me."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

Look, don't get me wrong. I am touched by BYU fans' concern for the Utah program and your desire that we land such a fabulous catch as Rice. I'm already starting to get enthusiastic about seeing him roam the sidelines at the Hunty.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostHold the ROFLMAO emoticon response post until they get their new coach. No concern here at all. Your dismissal of him confuses me is all.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostLook, don't get me wrong. I'm shocked that UCLA hasn't already fired Ben Howland to get in on Dave Rice right now. Surely, there is going to be a bidding war with some really high profile programs for a guy that hasn't even been the top assistant for the majority of his career and has been a part of 1 NCAA tournament win in those 5 seasons.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostHe is ignoring the soon to be 5 straight 25+ win seasons Rice has helped with. OF course the Utes deserve better like a drunk or a guy that can't really coach but played one on TV.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression
