You know Katz called Walker's offensive rebound the play of the game. And he's right. If BYU gets that board we have 12 seconds or so for Jimmer to get off a game winner. That was a dagger.
That's the most frustrating thing about this loss. You could come up with a dozen different ways we could have put this away at the end of regulation.

I know we've gone the rounds over the past couple of years, but when I say that I'm happy for some BYU fans you are in that group.
Tourny success is like nothing else in sports. Blackhawks winning the cup was awesome, but it didn't compare to any of the Utes run. It is always bitter when it is over, but damn those memories are great. Even if BYU has great success and more runs over the years, 10 years from now you will still remember that performance against the Zags vividly. I can still remember individual plays from the Utah-Iowa St game in 1996.
Congrats on the season.
Good post funk.
It definitely won't be another 30 years until BYU plays in the Sweet 16 again.

it means i'm not sure how to go about reconciling my lifetime of hate for utah and its fans with the fact that i am now an enrolled student there.
It'll be easy. I went to the U for three years. School is school. Sports are sports. They don't have to mix. Just keep tuning in to ESPN and BYUtv on Saturdays.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Can you imagine? Watching the next BYU sweet 16 with your grand kids.

Come to the dark side, cam. We have a huge fucking tent

You guys literally have a tent where people go to have sex?

Its at burning man, and Finderson is the ring leader.
Just think of all the bodily odors that get trapped in that hot, stinking tent.

What a great season. I really love this team and I'm glad for the success they have had this year.
I'm surprised at all the rumors concerning Rose leaving. I have heard information that makes it highly unlikely. He is disappointed with losing a game that was ours for the taking. Win that one and he saw the Final Four in his sights. That's what made the question lame. Don't ask people questions like that in the post game of his best season. If the University doesn't completely shaft him on the Davies thing, he'll be back next year.
Back to the team. This team played with a lot of adversity and still put together an amazing season. Jimmer deserves the Wooden and Naismith awards. I hope he gets them. Jackson deserves some recognition in all of Jimmer's awards. His presence on defense allowed Jimmer to play offense the way he did.
I expect we aren't looking at a high water mark here. This team was special because it was so good with such pedestrian recruits. Amuse yourself today by looking at the Florida roster and who offered those kids and compare that roster to the BYU roster and who offered our kids. Based on the recruiting, we shouldn't have made the tournament.

People a lot more knowledgeabel than I am, including you, are talking highly of things to come. Are the recruits coming in that good? We lost Jimmer and Jackson. Possibly Davies. What makes you optimistic?
