I imagine these schools will go back and be the top teams in their states.
You could argue that these results validate the system. Maybe those experts that ranked a team full of white kids from Utah #1 knew what they were doing after all.

I actually think his point of all these teams LP is beating are going to go on and win their state titles is what's really relevant. It is hard to rank thousands of teams, so beating state champions is relevant.

Oh, I was wrong, btw, LP plays Chester again but in Milwaukee, not in PA.

Yes, LC, that was my point.

Nick is obviously a stronger player offensively than his excellent big bro, but is he as good a defender?

He could be at some point, but not now, not even close. He is a pretty darn good though for being a senior in high school.

I'd say they're fairly similar, athletically, except that Nick is shorter and maybe slightly less athletic.

My opinion: Jax was an overrated defender. His lateral quickness was not great, and he was not that good at shuffling his feet and keeping a quick guard in front of him. He was outstanding at jumping the passing lane and had active hands and good off the ball awareness. His strength also gave him an advantage in positioning. But he's not the model of a great defender, IMHO.

Nick is strong like Jax but a couple inches shorter. His problem, defensively, will be that he'll be matched up with the other team's point guard, and he'll likely have trouble keeping him in front of him at times.

BTW, Jackson posted a picture of Nick's mission call the other night. It's waiting for him when he gets home from Florida. We should know when and where he is going shortly.

Nick has a mission call? He's got five months left of high school.

                            Interesting.

So give us the list of all of the BYU b-ball players that were superior to Jackson defensively. I would be curious to see that.

I think it is much closer than you think. And when Nick is done, he'll be far better than Jackson was in any facet of the game. I also think that TJ might do the same thing to his big brother.
