One in every 113 people in NYC got the 'Rona. In the large city with the second highest population density in the US, San Francisco, one in every 1500 people got it. It's not like the Bay Area is isolated either. De Blasio and Cuomo bear a huge amount of blame for their decision making in the first half of March.
At what point did you / will you take the coronavirus epidemic seriously?

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Weird... Bill Gates is actually more bullish than Drumpf about the Covid-19 death count:
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/04/05/bill...-scenario.htmlBill Gates calls coronavirus pandemic a ‘nightmare scenario,’ but predicts lower death toll than Trump
- Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates called the coronavirus pandemic a “nightmare scenario.”
- However, he predicted that the U.S. could see less than 100,000 to 240,000 deaths from COVID-19 before the outbreak is under control.
- Gates said if people continue practicing safe social distancing and remain in quarantine, cases should begin leveling off toward the end of this month

The dimwitted Trump finally figured out that dismal predictions would work better politically, allowing him to claim credit when deaths are "only" in the low six figures.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostWeird... Bill Gates is actually more bullish than Drumpf about the Covid-19 death count:

Anyone who has to predict or estimate future risk knows that you need to be conservative on the negative side. Nothing worse than unhappy surprises.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostMaybe that's what he is doing, but the administration (including fauci and birx) seem to have adopted the Washington model which is where those estimates came from. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Sorry to hear that, Frank. I feel bad for folks who don't have that option, but also recognize that there is a need for people in some roles that can't be done "from home".Originally posted by frank ryan View PostI wish I could work from home.
