Yeah, if it's true that the large scale protests have died out, this is done for now. People get cowed or just need to go back to their daily lives. I really question how much real effective support outside players could have provided in terms of military action.Originally posted by Maximus View Post

But things are not good in Iran and the Mullahs are losing support. A genie is out of the bottle and I don't give them that much more time.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Little known fact -- that's where CB got the term. It was meant to paint the more religious faction of CBers as extreme in their observance and practice of the religion, much like the theocratical governance of Iran's leadership.Originally posted by YOhio View Post

It is sickening this has gone unnoticed by the MMM. Rather disgusting. As well as leaders across the globe who just turned their back to the people of Iran.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Don't forget all the resources there been spending on their nuclear program and funding of proxies throughout the ME, which have also brought sanctions. They should have been spending their resources on their people.Originally posted by beefytee View PostI think the Iran situation will develop/die out depending on the water a situation.
People would rather die revolting than die of thirst.
We saw the same thing in Iraq. Saddam squandered their resources on projecting power and wars with their neighbors.
But what would the new boss look like even if the mullahs were thrown out? I don't like it that I'm skeptical.
