Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

But people cheer the murders and clamor for more.
We are giving that weirdo in Argentina billions because of his failed policies because Donald likes him. They have not been much of an ally

Please explain the satire. Satire of what?Originally posted by Shaka View Post
Because I'm a callous individual with an evil sense of humor.
Mostly, I laughed for the same reason the latest South Park season makes me laugh. Trump, CK, and others get dragged in a major troll job by Matt and Trey. The satire, despite being crude, is hilarious. King Trump flying around in a poop bombing fighter jet is humorous.
I also laugh at fart jokes.
"Satire: the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues."
Do you find it stupid for people to exercise their constitutional rights to protest? Is that the satire?
I understand that YOU find these things whiny, repetitive, and tiresome. But I don't think you can speak for "the people they are trying to convince". That seems incredibly reductive and binary. And, frankly, naive and simplistic.Originally posted by Shaka View Post
I have no problem with you finding my reason absurd. I addressed it above. You will probably also find it absurd that I think the No Kings rallies are ridiculous. Trump is doing what he was elected to do. Staging a rally with a false premise isn't going to help the situation. The opposition needs to find a way to beat him at the ballot box. As it stands, the lefty rallies are the modern-day equivalent of crying wolf. The people they are trying to convince find these things whiny, repetitive, and tiresome. Freedom to protest is guaranteed, but the left never asks itself whether or not the rallies are actually effective. Instead, they do what they have always done, and fire up another rally. The result is they are preaching to the choir and annoying the very people they need to get victories at the ballot box.
But then again, you laugh at fart jokes.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Trump was the one engaging in satire. As for the rest....Originally posted by falafel View Post

And you laughed at it. So I assume you understood the satire (you called it satire btw, not Trump).Originally posted by Shaka View Post

So what was he satirizing that you laughed at? If you don't know, that is an acceptable answer. I suspect that you don't know, which is why you haven't given any kind of straightforward answer.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Bad Trump. Like, uniquely bad Trump but can you really gauge how bad because he's pretty bad at baseline but this is probably a new level of bad?:
And, of course he hasn't changed, still bilking 'contractors' out of money:President Trump is demanding that the Justice Department pay him about $230 million in compensation for the federal investigations into him, according to people familiar with the matter, who added that any settlement might ultimately be approved by senior department officials who defended him or those in his orbit.
The situation has no parallel in American history, as Mr. Trump, a presidential candidate, was pursued by federal law enforcement and eventually won the election, taking over the very government that must now review his claims. It is also the starkest example yet of potential ethical conflicts created by installing the president’s former lawyers atop the Justice Department.
https://www.nytimes.com/2025/10/21/u...pensation.htmlCompensation is typically covered by taxpayers. Two people familiar with the president’s legal claims said that he had not been paid by the federal government but that he expected to be.
"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."
"You are an intemperate, unscientific poster who makes light of very serious matters.”

I can't think of a more obvious dodge. Why didn't you just use the classic "Its for me to know and you to find out"? At least it has some cultural cachet.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

AT the end of the video, you can hear the No Kings protesters yelling "We Hate the U-S-A!" Sadly, the woke media removed the "we hate the" section.Originally posted by myboynoah View PostAin't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.
