I think leftist protests are far more likely to turn violent than right-wing protests. I am also 100% against Trump sending in the military to cities hosting protests.

The Charlotte No Kings protest had more US flags waving than I have ever seen outside of a political convention. Have no idea if this weekend's will be the same but it was an incredibly positive and patriotic event.

Having said that, it is always good and prudent to send in armed National Guard troops just to make sure things don't turn out bad. Just ask the folks at Kent State.

I am being serious. I am not saying left wing rioters can't get out of control or violent but I don't agree that there is some clear patterns of more violence.


Occupy Wall Street wasn't all that violent and it was massive.

It was left-wingers but organized far right types that invaded the Capitol and attempted to over the democratic process.
