      Protests where the police view the protesters as "the enemy" are far more likely to result in violence than protests where the police are actively protecting the constititutional right to protest. See, for example, the 1968 Chicago Democratic convention police riots.

      So what's the common thread? Is it really "lefty" violence? Or is it that police tend to protect the status quo, view "lefties" as a threat to that status quo, and thus tend to resort to violence to quell the protest?

      I'm not saying protests can't be violent, or that there weren't times when BLM protesters actively tried to damage federal buildings. But I am saying that your reduction of left vs right violent protests is BS.

            You can also discuss how it has been "lefty" agitation that has progressed this country beyond Jim Crow, beyond same-sex marriage, beyond so many outdated policies.

              Leftists have backed some good causes. And some really stupid ones. Like defund the police.

                              I saw a pic of a girl I used to date, and was considering dating again, at the Utah No Kings rally.

                              Then I saw King Trump's fighter pilot persona troll video.

                              I laughed.

                              I'm no longer considering giving the girl another shot.
