Family dynamics are complex and often misunderstood by those on the outside, occasionally even difficult to understand amongst family members. I'm sure you've seen quite a bit of that in your various church callings. He likely shows love different than you or I do, but that's not necessarily indicative of its absence.
True, sort of, but I didn't write that love was nonexistent, For Trump, love isn't the emotion or feeling that drives him, and hence love is irrelevant. He is driven by self-aggrandizement more than anything and he values loyalty above all else. I'm surprised at but welcome your dissenting view.

Or, perhaps, you've learned that you can get what you want by making us think you care about us.

Sociopaths see people as objects, including their spouses and kids. A means to an end. Remember when Trump talked about how hot his daughter was and if she weren't his daughter, he would go after her? She is an object to him.

Trump clearly sees other people as objects. The second you show an ounce of disloyalty or become un-useful to him, you are out. He is the center of his own universe. Sociopaths are also good at lying. All of that is classic sociopath behavior.

If you want to blow your mind, check out this book. Reading it was one of the most eye-opening experiences I have had. It was written by a researcher who spent her career studying and providing therapy to sociopaths.

PS: I was slightly off. It is 1 in 25.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

The mother of his children was buried at one of his golf course's, supposedly for a tax benefit. That is not something a healthy and ethical person would do.

You are one of the better people around and I think you're looking for Trump's humanity speaks of your better nature, but I think it's ok to see the person he has consistently shown us he is. He's comically unaware of certain things. But he has lived with being immune from the benefits and impacts of criticism. There was a golfer or someone who shared an anecdote about Trump cheating at gold because he said he basically expects everyone to. He thinks cheating is part of the game.

His reputation and personality issues weren't controversial before he became a political figure. I believe he has bragged in the past about revenge being important to him. I get people have fatigue about liberals or never Trumpers bringing up his faults repeatedly, and I know I can be one of those people, he gets flack for things he does and doesn't do.

Theo Von is genuinely a really good dude. I've heard some cool things about him from people in recovery.

Trump calls for eliminating debt ceiling amid chaos before potential government shutdown

I thought he was elected with the aim to shrink and make the federal government more fiscally responsible?

So, this hole CR things is confusing. Is Trump just sitting on the sidelines while Musk runs the show? Or is Musk a little out of control and caught the Trump team off guard? What a mess. Who's in charge here?

And Trump's proposal was a $5 trillion increase to the national debt. WTF?!?

Also, weird that MAGA has been cheering shutting the government down, but then The Hillbilly comes out and blames the dems for doing the shutting. Which is it?

Apparently you haven’t been following the campaign and related spending promises/tax breaks that Trump proposed.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Elon isn't someone who should be handed such wide sweeping power. It's creepy Rand Paul is putting his name out there for speaker of the house.
