He threw out that July/August timeline, which is good. Helps the markets plan, and if shorter, then great.
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Yeah. In a time of national crises, after monumentally screwing up in tone, in language, in demeanor, and in the seriousness of the issue, Trump finally got a press conference right.

And then, almost immediately afterward, went back to being the asshole that he is.

“No, I wouldn’t say so, but perhaps that’s been the story of life. That does happen on occasion,” President Trump says when if professional athletes without symptoms should be going to the front of the line in getting tested for coronavirus. https://t.co/piDsmnkG0y

            Hey, that's just life.

I don't have a problem with that. Testing isn't a cure. If you think you need a test, self-isolate until you get one. Pretty simple. Professional athletes should be tested. They are likely to be in contact with a lot of people.

Yeah. Testing needs to be more widespread, and it looks like we are getting closer to that everyday. But in life some people get treated differently than others.

Trump is fundamentally not a serious leader. I can't imagine anyone else not being able to suppress their most base instincts in a time as serious as this:

"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? I'm over this crap. Who's wrong again? A snarky comeback from the president. Or a reporter taking time during a press conference with the president during a national emergency to scold him on racism. It's all bullshiz and most people don't care and are coming more and more on the opposite side of the woke. Spend the next four years being shocked about how we voted this guy in again. Spend the next 20 years shocked how we voted more unwoke republican presidents if you want to focus on stuff that doesn't matter and push extreme liberal politics. I voted for Hillary and I'm appalled at most of the stuff Trump says, but just like Exmormons are keeping me in the Mormon Church, the woke are keeping me voting republican.

Trump signals he's open to federal government taking equity stake in companies

... And SeattleUte is worried about comrade Bernie

I just watched the clip. Didn't seem like she we trying to scold him for racism. Sounds like she was trying to give the president a chance to justify his use of terms.
