the House also passed their own bill to address the same issue. It's hardly uncommon or wrong for the speaker to want to promote their own bill. She is on record last week saying the senate bill is good but the house one is better. Big whoop. As usual Trump is just being a blowhard to rile up his base. The house passed the senate bill. Trump will sign it. But you are right, Trump doesn't want to get anything done.

He really doesn't, certainly not through the process it's supposed to work with congress and the president working together. Multiple times congress has come up with something and Trump shows initial support and then yanks the rug out from under it. If he signs this it's the exception, not the rule. In general the chaos helps him more with his base, so he figures.

But that's nice. If he signs this one hopefully it helps.
