President Trump: Making America Great Again...

If he is set with "the my way or the hi-way" and in lock step with far right thinking, he could make things happen that a lot of politicians couldn't. That wouldn't be good. If he was the brains behind Trump pulling off the win, you would have to give him credit for being bright. Very bright with some radical ideas is not good.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostWe're already feeling the effects of Bannon. Trump calling CNN 'fake news' repeatedly, Sean Spicer taking questions from non-traditional news sources, etc. These have Bannon's fingerprints all over them. His advice is being taken very seriously by Trump.
So yeah, I'm nervous about what else he's telling Trump.
That is why people like Warren, Sanders, Pelosi, et. al. don't really worry me. I wonder if there is an up and coming Bannon of the far left?

Michael Moore is the Bannon of the far left. He thought Obama was a conservative.Originally posted by byu71 View PostIf he is set with "the my way or the hi-way" and in lock step with far right thinking, he could make things happen that a lot of politicians couldn't. The reason for the question has to do with something O'Reilly said. He said if the democrats keep catering to the street protestors and the far left because they worry about there base, they will lose even more favor with the public. All the protests and disruption of the public will not be good for them.Originally posted by 8BR View PostSend the hippies back to work: yeah, probably did have an impact. He ran as establishment. The attitudes/demographics of major population centers of SoCal where very different in that era, easy for him to win the state with that message.
Now Krauthammer (sp) said he disagreed and didn't think the protests mattered one way or another.

MY humble opinion is the difference is Moore is far from being in Bannon's league when it comes to being bright or maybe I am looking for another word.Originally posted by BlueK View PostMichael Moore is the Bannon of the far left. He thought Obama was a conservative.
What movement has Moore ever started except maybe his mouth and bowells?
I was going to say Pres. Obama, but I think he is too decent to be put in that category of wanting total control.

LOL. I have friends who think that as well. I just think it is shady that he is on the security council with his extreme views. I don't like that Trump seems to take his counsel without thought or question.Originally posted by Walter Sobchak View PostYou'll regret your apathy when Bannon's brownshirt squads are rounding up all the undesirables, shipping them to the secret Mojave Desert internment camps he has been building, and gassing them en masse.

Probably some weird unspoken agreement like a deal with the devil. I'll get you the W on election night and I'll also steer you through your term inside your ear.Originally posted by Soccermom View PostLOL. I have friends who think that as well. I'll make his whole brand go under,"

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

When Tim Kaine said democrats are going to "fight in the streets"!..., I don't think this is what he meant:
"If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.
"I honestly believe saying someone is a smart lawyer is damning with faint praise. The smartest people become engineers and scientists." -SU.
"Yet I still see wisdom in that which Uncle Ted posts." -creek.
GIVE 'EM HELL, BRIGHAM!

If he keeps doing crap like this I will probably have to head back into the closet.Originally posted by BlueK View PostNice to see a president who isn't afraid to get into fights on the phone with hostile countries like Australia. That bully attitude is really going to make us great.
