You'll regret your apathy when Bannon's brownshirt squads are rounding up all the undesirables, shipping them to the secret Mojave Desert internment camps he has been building, and gassing them en masse.

That would suck. A lot of other things can happen short of this extreme that would also suck.

He can also give direct orders to lower level officials and circumvent the heads of those agencies, if he wanted to. This is the environment it seems he is setting up. That's troubling to me.
How would that work and is that any different that other advisors in the past? Look, I don't like Bannon either, but I just don't see how this is different than other advisors in the past.

Yeah, I suppose I would regret my apathy at that point.

Yeah, that's kind of how I felt about it. Yes he's a nut job, and yes he'll have the President's ear on topics, but that's nothing that we didn't already know about Trump and Bannon.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

A nut job getting national security secrets? What could go wrong with that? Hopefully nothing, but who knows.

              • Question for you California historians. Did the protests that went on in the 60's and early 70's in California help Reagan get elected and re-elected or really didn't have any effect?

Its definitely unusual. I happen to be more concerned about the nut job with the nuclear codes.

I'm concerned about that as well.

I have heard that Pettis actually has a brief case that beeps if Trump pushes the button. He can either give it a go or a no.

That's why I'm so OUTRAGED. If we don't do something about Bannon NOW, then millions of Americans will die!

Wait.. my microwave burrito is ready, brb.

I lean conservative. I used to enjoy Breitbart news as a balancing source before Andrew Breitbart passed away. Sadly, Breitbart is now all the things that annoy me about some of the left leaning publications.
When Andrew launched his site and was guest-hosting on Dennis Miller's radio show, the site actually had some value. It's amazing how the people who took over after he died destroyed it.

I think my youngest brother actually believes this is a distinct possibility. From his FB feed, I think he might be addicted to outrage porn and I need to stage an intervention. He does lurk here occasionally. So if you're reading this know that we love you and we'll get through this together!

We're already feeling the effects of Bannon. Trump calling CNN 'fake news' repeatedly, Sean Spicer taking questions from non-traditional news sources, etc. These have Bannon's fingerprints all over them. His advice is being taken very seriously by Trump.

So yeah, I'm nervous about what else he's telling Trump.
