I'm evil for thinking this, but I wish Steve Bannon gets a really bad terminal illness

The church PR department then releases a very simple statement and now people on Facebook are freaking out because it wasn't strong enough. Umm, it's likely that the FP and Q12 met in their regular Thursday temple meeting and then dispersed to various assignments by Friday morning. The expectation that church leadership should be responding publicly as part of the 24-hour news cycle is beyond irrational.
Apparently some one else has a more direct connection.

            • This has turned into a real mess. What a dope.
              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Yeah. The evil is one thing, we all knew he's a pretty bad guy. It's the incompetence of it all. Hitler ran his Nazi shop with German efficiency. Mussolini made the trains run on time. Yet we get stuck with an American Kim Jong-il.

                  • I didn't realize today was Fred Korematsu Day until google told me this morning. I wonder if the administration had the presence of mind to avoid signing the immigration executive order today, or if it was just dumb luck.

Eh. A stronger statement is in order, and will probably be issued this week.

Followed soon after by an angry response from Trump.

And by golly, if it is not released by Friday, let's all get hysterical on social media. It's like they don't even care!

A stronger statement was issued in April 2016. We effin' preempted Trump's ridiculousness through a church wide program called I Was a Stranger. It's ludicrous that people are upset that the church didn't fire right away after the dumb EO. The church has been setting its narrative for almost a full year. If that ain't prophetic, I don't know what is. Give the church it's due for finally being ahead of something for once.
