I don't like DeSantis. The only way I will vote for DeSantis is if the Democrats nominate Trump. I prefer some of Trumps' positions to DeSantis'.
But...
Trump represents an existential threat to American democracy (cue the CB pedants' "We are not a democracy!!!"). I am not saying he is an enormous threat, that if Trump is elected in 2024, our democratic ideals are doomed, but the threat is there.
I do not believe that DeSantis represents this kind of threat. Therefore, as the Dude said, even though I extremely dislike DeSantis, he is a million times better.Comment
