Are any of these really peaceful protests anymore? Minnesota will be on fire before the end of the day. Again.Originally posted by falafel View Post
Whether or not there is, it really feels like there shouldn't be an implied risk to peacefully protesting in the United States of America.

Except you very clearly did.Originally posted by dabrockster View PostGood Grief.. That is some major stretching by Maximus and LVAllen. It is equally inconceivable for you two to look at this from other perspectives. I did not find fault in the victim nor have issue with protesting.. Stop your nonsense..
This wasn't you?
Or this?their true purpose is to agitate, anger and cause agent to lose their cool
Nobody wants agents to lose their cool. People die or are injured when agents lose their cool, and the agents are rarely, if ever, held accountable, because they have supporters who will run to their respective bully pulpits to lie in their favor. Meanwhile, the ones who the agents attack get to deal with lingering injuries, unlawful arrests, legal fees, harassment, possible issues with employment arising from the unlawful arrests, and so on. The ripple effect only goes one way.they were not just filming but being aggressive and taunting and look to incite actions.. They have blame in this
And heaven forbid protesters speak instead of silently filming like you would apparently prefer. Talk about nonsense...

It's January. Do you have any idea how absolutely pissed off Minnesotans have to be to be outside in January? It's cold, it's snowy, and the wind blowing off Superior drives the moisture straight through your bones. It makes for beautiful springs and fall, but winters are something else.Originally posted by The_Tick View Post

Wow there must be some really damning evidence on the shooter's phone after he was whisked away from the crime scene:
https://www.startribune.com/ice-raid...sota/601546426On Thursday morning, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said the FBI had taken over the investigation into the shooting. “The FBI informed the BCA that the U.S. Attorney’s Office had reversed course: the investigation would now be led solely by the FBI,” the BCA said in a statement."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

Yep. I said that and stand by it,. Never in those statements does it state I blame the victim or am against protesting. I am against the method these protestors are taking and that is clear in all the videos. You want to protect and protest. By all means, but getting up in their face, instigating, harassing as they sleep etc. Not OK with that at all.. And there is purpose behind that level of protesting.. Heaven forbid they actually protest without these methods. I am of the opinion of ensuring less loss of lives. Seems to me you expect these untrained agents to just deal with it.. It only leaves it open to loss of life.. Casualty of the cause.. Talk about complete nonsense..
You wish to protect what is happening unlawfully. Film, and do all the methods without elevating the situation. As I stated before, we are in the midst of a crisis where both sides feel targeted. Sadly, one side has a gun and can shoot even when they shouldn't. I am of the side of reducing that risk.

Being in front of the car was a poor decision by that officer and goes against his training.Originally posted by Shaka View Post
I've watched all the available videos. I do not find your assessment to be accurate. The officer was definitely in front of the car. She turned right into him and hit him as he sidestepped and fired.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Horrible. 100%. Can't/wont dispute that. And the legal system will work that out. And if the ICE agent is guilty, make him pay.Originally posted by falafel View Post

But when the city is on fire again, I would like to see equal legal ramifications to the people causing the damage.

So if the city doesn't get lit on fire are you going to admit being wrong?Originally posted by The_Tick View Post
