It's an "invastion." The GOP media others will keep referring to these people as anything but people.... Invaders, criminals, savages, drains on the system.Originally posted by falafel View PostInteresting new digital ad from ICE. Comparing the "fight" against illegal immigrants to fighting the Flood in HALO. For those that don't know, the Flood is a group of parasitic zombies that consume the resources of the host and rapidly regenerate and multiply.
And, I don't think ICE agents get to shoot immigrants from the back of a Warthog.

I'd vote against him and anyone who claims to support him. I'd also probably starting looking in earnest for a quiet cottage in Normandy and just retire there."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

That seems like a long way for the CSG to sail, considering they were near Italy. And that also seems like it's reducing US military presence and pressure in Eastern Europe. Good thing nothing significant is happening there.Originally posted by BlueK View Post

This one flew under my radar but it looks like a guy who was nominated to head the Office of Special Council was a self described Nazi.
Thankfully there was enough push back from senators that he withdrew he declined the nomination yesterday.
But this just carries on a pattern of Trump being ok with these types of people.
https://www.politico.com/news/2025/1...-nazi-00613608Using an Italian slur for Black people, Ingrassia wrote a month earlier in the group chat seen by POLITICO: “No moulignon holidays … From kwanza [sic] to mlk jr day to black history month to Juneteenth,” then added: “Every single one needs to be eviscerated.”...
I do have a Nazi streak in me from time to time, I will admit it,” Ingrassia responded, according to the chain. One of the people in the text group said in an interview that Ingrassia’s comment was not taken as a joke, and three participants pushed back against Ingrassia during the text exchange that day...
Ingrassia made other racist remarks, according to the chain. In January 2024, he wrote of former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy: “Never trust a chinaman or Indian” and then added: “NEVER,” the texts show. Ramaswamy, the son of Indian immigrants, declined to comment.

Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
