Yes. Don't let a temporary 3k rise in the market distract you from the fact that the market is still down over 3k from when Trump announced the tariffs a week ago, and almost 5k from when he first took office in late January, and is almost certainly going to drop again when he hints at turning back on the tariff faucet.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

It is not Navarro’s motivation. But Trump and others see the opportunities it is creating.
Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Since Ron Vara and Besset are reassuring us that this was the plan all along, who else besides MTG got wind of it and made a decent chunk of change?"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

Due more to inertia than principle, I didn't leave the party until January 7 0r 8, 2020, when it became clear it had become a party of invertebrates. And it's nauseating how Trump loves crowing when (in his mind anyway), an opponent has come on their hands and knees to "kiss my ass", (notice it's about him, not the country) a declaration he has made about Romney, Rubio, Vance, and now pretty much every foreign nation. So presidential--it's truly embarrassing. It's like we elected a stupider version of this guy:

How would anyone know that this one tweet out of a million was the one where he was giving us all some insider information? Kinda suspicious, but he also told people to buy his bitcoin, his failed truth social experiment, et al as well as all those suppliers and contractors who were stiffed by him as a businessman and banks that he bankrupted himself out of paying. This only confirms the old adage that a broken clock is correct at least two times a day.Originally posted by chrisrenrut View PostOr Trumps tweets

Yes, credibility with other countries is lost as is market stability. Obama handed Trump an excellent economy in 2016 and the adults in the White House at the time were guardrails that kept Trump form wrecking that. Weird that he gets credit with some for running such a good economy. No guardrails or adults now and it is a shit show. No reason to think it will get any better, unless of course my prayers are answered.Originally posted by Donuthole View Post

I doubt we will ever get back the standing we had in the world from WWII through Obama. American elected this idiot twice, and it is causing pain. Who would trust that judgement?Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

It's going to hit us on multiple fronts. You'll have nations backing out of arms deals (it's already started) because of how untrustworthy the US is.Originally posted by myboynoah View Post

Sure. But you think his cronies didn’t get a much more pointed and detailed communication? Just like they got early in on his bitcoin and DJT stock offerings.Originally posted by myboynoah View Post

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
