Or even the SCOTUS. Are they just going to sit there and take this?Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Am I missing something? How is Miller calling the 9-0 SCOTUS ruling to 'facilitate' his return a complete victory for Trump?"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

Probably because the Court softened a bit on how far the administration has to go to facilitate his return.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostAm I missing something? There are two big things to come out of that ruling.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostAm I missing something? How is Miller calling the 9-0 SCOTUS ruling to 'facilitate' his return a complete victory for Trump?
1. the Admin must "facilitate" his return to the U.S.
2. the courts do not conduct foreign policy of the U.S.
Stephen Miller and others are only reading No. 2 and ignoring the rest.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I don't think he's talking about citizens, but rather undocumented people who were brought here as children.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View Post
I'm not saying that's any better, but its a legal distinction for sure. At least, I hope that's what he's saying.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I've learned not to give Trump the benefit of any doubt. I think he is most likely referencing individuals who were born here to undocumented parents.Originally posted by falafel View Post

I wouldn't even give him that much grace. If he could find a way to send incarcerated U.S. citizens (even with ancestors back to the Mayflower), he would do it. And Trump is operating on the "Do it, and let them try to stop me."Originally posted by Donuthole View Post

Harvard gives Tump the middle finger.
https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/14/u...t-demands.html
Harvard University said on Monday that it had rejected policy changes requested by the Trump administration, becoming the first university to directly refuse to comply with the administration’s demands and setting up a showdown between the federal government and the nation’s wealthiest university.
Other universities have pushed back against the Trump administration’s interference in higher education. But Harvard’s response, which essentially called the Trump administration’s demands illegal, marked a major shift in tone for the nation’s most influential school, which has been criticized in recent weeks for capitulating to Trump administration pressure.“No government — regardless of which party is in power — should dictate what private universities can teach, whom they can admit and hire, and which areas of study and inquiry they can pursue,” said Alan Garber, Harvard’s president, in a statement to the university on Monday."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."
