    No, support for Kurds.

The Nordic countries said they confirmed that the PKK was a proscribed organisation and, in a key concession, would “not provide support” to the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union party (PYD) and People’s Protection Units (YPG) groups that have been active in the fight against Islamic State in Syria.

              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

                • This is awesome. We should all pray for the control officer from the Russian side.

                    • Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and the UN Secretary General have agreed to shipping Ukraine grain from Odesa.

                      Diplomats say the plan includes:
                      • Ukrainian vessels guiding grain ships in and out through mined port waters
                      • Russia agreeing to a truce while shipments move
                      • Turkey - supported by the United Nations - inspecting ships, to allay Russian fears of weapons smuggling.

The deal is also meant to facilitate Russian exports of grain and fertiliser via the Black Sea.

The other day I read about possibly training Ukrainian pilots by the US. Now the Secretary of the Air Force is talking about possibly sending A-10s to Ukraine.

Kendall made the comment at the Aspen Security Forum in Colorado on Wednesday evening after he was asked by a moderator whether the A-10, also known as the Warthog and which the Air Force has been slowly retiring from its fleet while encountering congressional resistance, could be given to Ukraine.

"That's largely up to Ukraine," Kendall said. "Older U.S. systems are a possibility. ... We will be open to discussions with them about what their requirements are and how we might be able to satisfy them."

                        • I feel like battle lines aren't changing very much lately, other than Ukraine is waging some kind of counter-offensive for Kherson. Seems like a combination of Russia running out of steam, and the US finally getting enough advanced weapons like HIMARS to finally make a difference. I'm hoping that means Ukraine can slowly win their land back again.

As far as training Ukraine's pilots and sending them A-10s, that might be more of a plan to rearm them after the war is over.

                            HIMARS have been a game-changer.

That idiot Biden decided not to supply the longer range tactical missile system (300 miles?) and said he decided not to "because we don't want to start WW3". Good grief. If that is your logic, fine. But don't state it like that because if you ever change you mind, you have painted yourself in a corner.

Yeah, I was disappointed when we changed our minds on the ATACMS. Those 300 mile missiles are cutting edge, and would have really made a splash. WW3 GTFD!

If they get some A-10's going- that will actually provide them the anti-tank $ anti-apc firepower they need to dislodge the gawdless commies from their territory.
