Seven-second turret toss. Best to just mute it...the guess are heatedly discussing something by shouting."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

This is interesting for a couple of reasons.
https://www.military.com/daily-news/...s-ukraine.html
First, there are US military personnel in Ukraine right now, making sure the Ukrainians are accounting for the weapons they've received from us.
Second, PBO's (property book officers) FTW!

Hilarious. Now Russia says they'll resume participating in the grain export deal. Participate or not, it's happening!

WARNING: SHOWS DRONE GRENADE CASUALTY
Hard-to-watch video of a grenade dropped right next to a Russian soldier and his subsequent struggles to flee the area but finding his leg cannot support his weight.

There was a thread on twitter yesterday noting a report from the wives of a recently mobilized group of soldiers that was thrown up to the front, lost its commander, got a lot of wounded, and retreated back to town, only to be accused of desertion and placed in a state of limbo (refusing to go back to the front, not given any food, water, or shelter, waiting for whatever comes next). They quoted one of the soldiers as saying that they had limited cover at the front and were constantly being targeted by artillery, mortars, and grenades dropped from drones. He said one strategy they employed was to lay on the ground without moving so as not to attract the attention of the drones.
Suddenly some previously viewed videos made sense. The videos showed drones dropping grenades on Russians that were just laying around on the ground, not in trenches or foxholes. It was if they were dead. But when the grenade hit close enough, the Russian would visibly react as if he had been hit with shrapnel, and then quickly go back to laying still.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Getting as low to the ground as you can is key for combat survivability. I learned that lesson in my Primary Leadership Development Course 25 years ago. It was my turn to lead the platoon, and we were taking a hill. There was so much smoke that I decided to sit up because no one could see me. Didn't matter. The laser from one of their rifles got me and I was dead. Our platoon was successful, no thanks to me.Originally posted by myboynoah View PostThere was a thread on twitter yesterday noting a report from the wives of a recently mobilized group of soldiers that was thrown up to the front, lost its commander, got a lot of wounded, and retreated back to town, only to be accused of desertion and placed in a state of limbo (refusing to go back to the front, not given any food, water, or shelter, waiting for whatever comes next). Still, this takes it a step further--playing dead. That just seems very sad to me.
