This is all just part of the vast right wing conspiracy's war on women... What else could it be?
Hillary Clinton's lawyer has surrendered three thumb drives with copies of emails from her server to the Justice Department, which is also where the controversial Clinton personal email server is destined as well. The FBI determined that Clinton's lawyer could no longer retain the thumb drives after two emails from a small sample were found to contain information classified as "Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information," which would also taint the server. There is no evidence that encryption was used to protect the emails. From the limited reviews to date, Secretary Clinton and her aides exchanged emails containing classified information with at least six people with private email addresses. So far four of Clinton's top aides have turned over emails to the State Department, and there are demands that six more do so. The State Department's inspector general has stated that his office is reviewing "the use of personal communications hardware and software by five secretaries of state and their immediate staffs." Current U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has stated, "it is very likely" that China and Russia are reading his emails.

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Is Scott Walker really against abortion in instances involving rape at any time, or did he just screw up the question? The bill he signed in Wisconsin bans abortion after 20 weeks and only has a health of the mother exception. That's different from being against abortion in cases of rape at all times.
All we can go on, of course, is his answer and I haven't seen any other clarification from him that he limits his stance against abortion in cases of rape to abortions after 20 weeks. I read something on Mother Jones, of all places, about Scott Walker's answer concerning health of the mother cases. Basically, Walker isn't against procedures designed to save a mother which incidentally ends the life of the fetus/baby. From what it sounds like, it's only in extremely rare circumstances (when the zygote attaches to the Fallopian tube instead of the uterus) when the overt act in saving the mother's life is the abortion.

I'm not sure I buy this because my grandmother had an exceptionally difficult pregnancy back in the 50s (after already having four kids) and the baby lived for a few days after she gave birth. The doctor told her emphatically that if she got pregnant again, she would either have to get an abortion or she would die. It's possible that medicine has advanced to the point where what ailed my grandmother could be resolved through other means.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Go away. We're too busy bashing GOP candidate extreme positions on abortion and ignoring Democratic candidate extreme positions on partial-birth abortion to concern ourselves with whether Hillary has compromised top secret information with her use of a private server.Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostI can't believe no one has mentioned this until now.

Yes, I know. Any spare time left after bashing a candidate's abortion position is spent combing through their insane family members' facebook posts. Can't contribute to the "I learned in church today" thread this week and show how you're above all the common mormon riff-raff? Don't worry, go to facebook and look for the latest from crazy Uncle Rulon out in Ely, NV.Originally posted by Nakoma View PostGo away. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that the FBI is engaging in a dog and pony show with the server. Basically, they'll say in a few weeks "nothing here!" and Hillary will then equate that with an exoneration and the issue will be closed.
But another side of me remembers a conversation I had with my brother in the past where he flatly told me midstream he couldn't tell me something in particular because it may contain classified information (my brother is in a position where he is privy to certain bits of classified intelligence). This is something that is taken seriously and the procedures in place are drilled into employees of the federal government that handle this kind of stuff. Look at what happened to David Petraeus.
At a minimum, the FBI probably wants to find out what the Chinese, Russians and few other crackpot governments undoubtedly stole from her server. I can't, however, see Hillary ever being prosecuted.Last edited by Color Me Badd Fan; 08-12-2015, 01:33 PM.Part of it is based on academic grounds. This is shaping up beautifully. Initially, I didn't believe that there was any way that Bernie would be able to gain enough traction to move Hill to the left.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostShe is going to fix that with a $350 billion promise...

So apparently it was revealed through one of the released emails that Hillary requested a book that taught, amongst other things, how to really really permanently delete emails - like writing over the hard drive 16 or 17 times.
