First, as far as I know there are only a few, isolated "Muslim neighborhoods" in the US -- Minnesota and some in Michigan. I don't think there's been any trouble out of the muslim population in Michigan, but the Somali population in Minnesota has been quite problematic. Aside from the Somali population, Americans have had a substantially different experience with domestic Muslims, since a lot of them are some if the wealthiest immigrant groups in the country.
I'm not totally sure about this, but it appears as if Cruz is probably talking about Europe where there are definitely Muslim neighborhoods and where there's a ton of crime, drug abuse and radicals being raised in the mess.
For whatever reason, we have smaller populations of Persians and Pakistanis who do quite well here. Many, if not most kids in California had the Pakistani kid(s) in their high school that was the valedictorian who is now a plastic surgeon in LA or is making the big bucks in Palo Alto.
It's whole different ball of wax in France and the UK where substantial Pakistani populations keep to themselves and do substantially worse than the Indian population. It's probably worse in France with their Algerian/Arab population.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”
I have to say, I'm pretty impressed that so many of you have been able to stay interested in this race. None of the candidates are interesting to me, and more than ever, this is a race about who isn't the worst candidate. I just can't get interested in any of the candidates.
The way I see it is Drumpf is most likely going to get something slightly less than the 1,237 number in delegates and one of two things will happen at the convention:
1. After the first vote the delegates will "dump trump" and after a good number of votes pick someone they think will unite the GOP party (someone really crazy like Newt Gingrich). The Drumpf supporters will riot in the streets and burn everything down.
2. The delegates will hold their noses and give it to Drumpf since it is so close. The crazy anti-Drumpf'er will riot in the streets and burn everything down.
Either way... Cincinnati may be burned to the ground if Drumpf doesn't get to 1,237. If Drumpf does get to 1,237 before the convention then the amount of damage from the rioting could be minimized and the mormons wouldn't be blamed. So maybe y'all in Utah and Arizona should just forget what RMoney said and vote for Little Rubio or the Gov from Ohio, or join JL in voting for Hillary over with the dems.
"If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.
"I honestly believe saying someone is a smart lawyer is damning with faint praise. The smartest people become engineers and scientists." -SU. "Yet I still see wisdom in that which Uncle Ted posts." -creek. GIVE 'EM HELL, BRIGHAM!

I like the idea of the rioters climbing aboard buses outside the Cleveland convention hall and directing the drivers to head to Cincinnati for their arsonfest. "A riot is an ugly thing, and it's time vee had vuhn!!!!"
I was at the Key just before Bernie's rally (the ballet at the Opera House, next door, brought me there). I’ve never been among such a homogenous bunch of people since I last attended a game at BYU. And I didn’t see one black person among the 14,000. One of the security told me that there was a problem with people cutting in line, which made sense.
When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Cleveland, Cincinnati, whatever. It's all just Ohio.

Burning down Cleveland might be an improvement for the city.

Omg could you be any more bourgeoisie? I like to imagine you sneering through a monocle when this transpired.

I don't think you know what bourgeoisie means. That's what they were, not I. (I was at the ballet watching my son perform, but the ballet is not demonstrably bourgeoisie.)

There are certainly many definitions depending on the time period rigt? Mostly just a dumb joke though.
