      I didn't see anything about having "binders full of women" so I think he is OK.

        If he has the delegates needed going into the convention, it will be interesting to see the feel-good video montage of his life. I have an idea of how they would spin it, but it will still be tough to make it a heart warming experience.

          lol. Politics is such a f*cking joke. Look at the things that were so important to voters in 2012 just because the news and politicians told them they were. Mitt's talking about the 48%, putting a dog house on the roof of a station wagon , and binders full of women. Seriously. I think I'm checking out of this crap- it's such a waste of calories.

              He's a politician. He's probably not an asshole degenerate like Trump. But I know what the smart money says.

                  My only major complaint about Bill Clinton related to the "bimbo eruptions" and how he really lowered the bar for personal conduct by a head of state. But he was very smart, politically astute, and seemed genuinely concerned about others. Trump has none of Clinton's redeeming qualities (although Drumpf is very smart at self-promotion, but has no intellectual curiosity) and is even far more reprehensible in his treatment of women. How Trump continues to attract the support of millions of women truly puzzles me.

                  One of my favorite parts of that essay is the incident where Drumpf brutalized his wife because he was displeased with the surgery performed by the doc she recommended to cover his bald spot (which neither she nor his lawyers denied!). I assume we can count on him to react in a measured, statesmanlike manner for less serious offenses by other nations.

                    Needs an * on the "yes" for Clinton with a disclaimer that women are only people if they haven't had an affair with her husband.

                      Good stuff. Going to forward to my parents who are considering holding their nose for Trump if he wins the nomination.

                        I think Clinton is more of a womanizer than Ted...

                        Yeah, Bill too.

                        • From a Quinnipiac poll released yesterday:

                          But Sanders and Kasich run best in head-to-head general election matchups among all American voters, topping other candidates by wide margins and locked in a dead heat with each other, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University Poll finds. Results are:

                          Clinton tops Trump 46 - 40 percent;

                          Clinton gets 45 percent to 42 percent for Cruz;

                          Kasich tops Clinton 47 - 39 percent;

                          Sanders beats Trump 52 - 38 percent;

                          Sanders tops Cruz 50 - 39 percent;

                          Kasich gets 45 percent to Sanders' 44 percent.

                          Trump and Clinton top the "no way" list as 54 percent of American voters say they "would definitely not" vote for Trump, with 43 percent saying no to Clinton, 33 percent nixing Cruz, 27 percent saying no to Sanders and 14 percent saying no to Kasich.
                          I think this underscores one reason why some people are frustrated with this presidential election cycle. The most disliked candidates - Trump and Clinton - are leading the delegate counts in their respective parties, and Sanders and Kasich () - the trailing active campaigners in their respective parties - fare the best in a general election scenario.

                          • I said before, I am going to miss the expert level trolling from Trump:

                            I have no idea whether or not the cover story about Ted Cruz in this week’s issue of the National Enquirer is true or not, but I had absolutely nothing to do with it, did not know about it, and have not, as yet, read it.

                            Likewise, I have nothing to do with the National Enquirer and unlike Lyin’ Ted Cruz I do not surround myself with political hacks and henchman and then pretend total innocence. Ted Cruz’s problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others, I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin’ Ted Cruz.

                            I look forward to spending the week in Wisconsin, winning the Republican nomination and ultimately the Presidency in order to Make America Great Again.

                              LOL. That is masterfully constructed, especially aimed at someone like Cruz.

                                There are factions in both parties that are controlling the nomination process this year and neither faction really cares very much for the nation as a whole.

                                I did see a funny tweet today that said that Kasich is trying to win his bracket with zero of his sweet 16 teams remaining. Sounds about right.
                                Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”
