      Romney's closing remarks were excellent.

Bob Schieffer did a very good job.

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I thought so. My guess is that Fox will even admit it. But as pellegrino rhetorically asked, it probably doesn't matter.

If 80 percent declare a winner, then it will be 45-35 for Obama. But a sitting president will always have an advantage.

The incumbent is always favored in a debate like this. The most important thing for Romney was to convince voters that he can be a competent Commander-In-Chief. I think he did that quite well.

And by the way, in spite of all the hot air from both camps, the two candidates just aren't that different when it comes to foreign policy.

Newsflash: the former Obama advisor on CNN doesn't think Mitt Romney did well. He kept track on his etch-a-sketch, which he brought to show to the audience.

That got a huge from me. Is he a pundit, or an activist? Or a Communist?

From a tactical standpoint it was not close. I'm surprised people here are not seeing that.

I think Obama did better (he is the CIC, after all), but clearly seems to insinuate blowout. Maybe i'm reading into that incorrectly.

I thought Jim Lehrer was good.

I agree also. Very good job. There is no need from either side to mention his name at all except to praise the job he did.
