The right question is this: can you see Romney as a viable Presidential alternative?
After the last two weeks, the answer is unequivocally yes. Obama, unable to run on his own record, has tried to paint Romney as unfit for the Presidency. He has failed at that, and that's why he'll probably lose the election. All of the punditry wonking about minor debate points really is just seeing the trees instead of the forest.Do Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

I didn't watch, but I listened. From that perspective, I thought it was a draw. Maybe the nonverbal stuff didn't go over well for romney. As a side note, my galaxy S3 with magic keyboard corrects romney to donkey.
Maybe why I thought it was a draw is because I agreed with both on many issues. You shouldn't have to be polar opposites on everything.
There was one stretch where donkey hit an out of the park homer when he talked about how great a nation we are and we didn't choose the calling, but we are the leaders.

CBS had Obama winning the first debate. It really doesn't matter.Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostCBS has Obama winning by a big margin, but I don't think it matters that much.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I agree. I like watching debates and judging who technically won the debate. But the real winner in these events is not always the technical winner. Romney did what he needed to do tonight. Technically he had his head handed to him. Battle vs war. I think Romney came closer to winning the war tonight.Originally posted by San Juan Sun View PostAsking who won the debate is the wrong question. (Even though I asked it a few minutes ago.

I'm watching Luntz's dunces. Lol.
The stripper almost got in a fight with Tony Soprano's sister in the front row.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Interesting tweet from MSNBC Obama toady Chuck Todd:
POTUS is consistently trying to draw Romney into a more contentious debate. It's what challengers do who think they are behind.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

Each campaign got some plants into the group.Originally posted by YOhio View PostAfter watching a handful of the 20 or so GOP primary debates, the VP debate and three Presidential debates, I've concluded that this is the worst Frank Luntz focus group to date.
