I will vote for Obama under no circumstances.

          None.

          Romney has my vote.

I'm tribal, but I would not vote for Harry Reid unless he was somehow running against Obama.

But I repeat my question to the rest of you.
The answer? In my humble opinion, nothing.

Although I'm sure my wife could give you a lengthy list.

As much sense as what you said.
If he knows how to balance his pocketbook, I'd rather he vote for what will benefit said pocketbook than those who have no concept of work or budget who votes to further their laziness.

Interesting how polarizing politics is. Yesterday, Carville calls Romney the weakest candidate in modern history, and I think Obama is the weakest incumbent of my lifetime. Maybe we're both right.

You know, before I had to pay any taxes.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Mondale was easily the weakest candidate since 1975.

I would add Dole and then if one.were to go back before.75 I would add McGovern and Goldwater.

Kerry was a dunce but he was against a fairly weak incumbent who had gotten elected under controversial circumstances.

I think the only candidates that were up against incumbent presidents that were demonstrably better than Romney were the guys that actually won, Reagan and Clinton. I'm not sure where to put Carter he barely won against the backdrop of Watergate.

I think George Will's Dewey comparison may be apt.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I pay taxes. And I deduct very little because I like paying taxes. And I may never make 6 figures since I'll be in academics. Only 10 weeks of residency left.

Honest question. Was Clinton a stronger candidate than Romney at this point in the election cycle (Spring '91)? I ended up being surprised by Clinton as president (multiple times) but I thought he was a week candidate during the democratic primaries who had some obvious baggage.
